Founded in 1983 by Herbert Mayer, the company's original activity wasthe production of semi-finished products from Ul-IMW-PE by RAM extrusion. As a second branch the recycling of sorted single compound plastics from injection moulding and extrusion waste was being developed. RAM extrusion was later abandoned. The company's own requirements in the field of tools and the constant need to replace worn extrusion screws and barrels led to the development of a manufacturing facility. Today the production of screws and barrels as well as plastic waste recycling constitute the main activities of ERE, oriented towards high performance, customers’ needs and the requirements of the future.
